The mission of the CCRSA is to serve God by working with the Church in its primary mission of Evangelization, through the power of the Holy Spirit. We are working towards the day when each person, and the church as a whole, embraces baptism in the Holy Spirit as the power of personal and communal transformation with all the graces and charismatic gifts necessary for the building up of the Church and for our mission in the world. 

This body shall be responsible for discerning, directing and leading the Regional activities of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of the Atlantic Provinces. 

Our primary goals and objectives in fulfilling this mission are:

• To gather together for prayer and discernment.
• To organize and promote charismatic events for evangelization and spiritual growth.
• To work together with Renewal leaders to a common vision through shepherding and encouragement.
• To assist prayer groups in 'growth in the Spirit' and in developing strong, and loving prayer group communities.
• To assist prayer groups in integrating into the life of their parishes.
• To communicate with the Atlantic Episcopal Council through a liaison Bishop appointed by that council.
• To communicate and network locally, nationally and internationally.
• To be a retreat and resource center for training and growth in Scripture and Evangelization.
